2016 Advertising Rates & Information

Advertising on the Cheverly Day 2016 website and blog is a great way to get your message out to a very special community -- the Town of Cheverly!


Our ads are flat-rate sponsorship, not PPC (pay per click/cost per impression). After a rate three-year rate freeze, we are increasing rates for 2016, but only marginally. Ads will be online through January 1, 2017, and include the ad space and a link to your business or community group's website. If you wish, our designer (webmaster Kathryn Andrews) can custom design an ad for you. Please webmaster with your information and desired ad size/placement.


Design Guidelines, Sizes, and Rates

All artwork must be in .jpg, tiff, .png, or .gif format, 300dpi. Ads with white backgrounds must have a black 1 × 1 pixel border around the edge of the design. Text should be saved in .doc format. Customer-supplied artwork must adhere to any and all trademark and copyright laws. Advertiser branding, i.e., logo or name, must appear on all advertising.


2016 rates are listed below, and all Town-recognized community groups receive a 50% discount. A complete list of officially recognized Town organizations that are eligible for the discounted community rate can be found of the Town of Cheverly website.


Advertising Policies

Cheverly Day reserves the right to refuse any advertising on the basis of editorial discretion. Cheverly Day reserves the right to terminate advertising at any time for any reason.


Cheverly Day reserves the right to label an ad as “Advertisement” if it cannot be easily distinguished from content. Products and/or services advertised by external organizations on the Cheverly Day website are in no way endorsed by Cheverly Day. Ads will be inserted as they are received and uploaded. Advertising is sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Placement is on a first-come, first-served basis and is at the discretion of the webmaster. All ads will remain live on the site through January 1, 2017.


All advertisement purchases are non-refundable. Payment may be made via Paypal or check. Checks should be made to Cheverly Day, Inc. and include “website” in the note portion of the check. Payments may be dropped off at the Community Center Administrative Office window during regular business hours.

Please note: Town-recognized community groups receive a 50% discount on advertising rates. The chart reflects the standard rate, followed by the discounted community group rate.
